We would like to introduce our range of services, activities and facilities.
We are based in Thüringen and are privileged to be surroundet by large areas of outstanding natural beauty, panoramic scenery, natural heritage and legends and mysteries dating back to the Middle Ages.
In order to extend our range of services we have developed a caravaning /touring-centre to enable our visitors
to enjoi, at their own pace, the impressive display of deciduous and conferous forests and woodland, nature trails
and unique range of flower and fauna, which incorporates a natural abundance of bird and wildlife.
We are very approachable and can accomodate the single visitor with a specific interest or larger group(s) with varied interests and are able to adapt our itinery to suit specific requests.
To compliment our range of daytime activities we also offer our visitors a varied selection of evening entertainment.
Listed below are some of our most popular activities and excursions.
-locally brewed beers- tasting and sampling
-sample our locally traditional made salami
-evening trips to the legendary and mysterious regions of Saale-Holzland-Kreis.
From early soring visits are organised to local kowns and villages skeeped in mystery and inkrigue, myths and kraditions, exploring arts and crafts originating from the early Middle Ages, including the centuries old Blacksmiths trade of early weaponry, religions, beliefs and myths, visiting the "Devils pulpit".
Become disorientated at the Rasenlabyrinth or maze.
The village of Reichenbach (our base) has centuries old traditions and crafts skin operating today.
t our centre we have a selection of locally made traditional Thüringen craftware and ouveniers.
Traditional Spit-Roasts and cabaret evenings.
Our comfortable 50 cover restaurant offers an excellent menu, with fresh locally grown produce daily. Special culinary requests may be contacted for. (Please order in advance!) Larger parties or functions to a maximum of 70 guests can be accomodated.
OTHER FACILITIES:
-Organised tennis tournaments, practise or just for fun with 2 indoor hard-courts and 4 outside courts.
-Our Sauna is open every evening with fun facilities.
We organice trips to local, traditional manufactures of porcelain at Reichenbach, the brewery at Köstritz, Salami production at Kraftsdorf, also the Brehmhaus and Mutzmuseum.
Evenings of traditional Thüringen folkmusic and singing.
Bike tours with specific information packs and points of interest (with or without guide).
Bicycle hire and repair service.
All of the activities mentioned can be on a guideed or unguided basis and can be rearranged to suit specific requests.
